FAQS
(Updated regularly)
When is it?
Friday 28th - Sunday 30th June 2024
What time is it open?
Friday: 3pm - 11pm
Saturday: 1pm - 11pm
Sunday: 12pm - 4pm
How is your beer served?
Straight from the cask/keg into a pint glass. You will be able to purchase beers in thirds, halves and pints.
How do I get there?
Please see above.
Why has the venue changed?
A variety of reasons; primarily, the wonderful folks at the Scout Hut couldn't accommodate us on the dates we wanted, but we found last year that keeping the beer cool was a monumental effort and while we love the outside space of the Scout Hut, we've made that sacrifice to better cool the beers in our dedicated taproom cold room.
How can I pay for my drinks?
We will have a central point for people to buy pre-payment cards with numerical values on them that will be used to pay for drinks. If you've been to a beer festival before, you will have seen this system.
Can I pay for my pre-paid cards with cash?
We'd encourage card payments, but we will accept cash on the day.
I'm hungry - is there anything to eat at the beer festival?
There is; we've got some fantastic food vendors joining us for the weekend. See here for more details...
Can I bring a picnic?
Yes, please do. A polite reminder to put your rubbish in the bin after you've eaten.
Can I bring my own chairs?
We actively encourage this - while there will be a variety of seating arrangements at the taproom, including hay bales!, bringing camping chairs etc might better guarantee somewhere to 'park up' comfortably!
Are dogs allowed?
Yes, dogs will be permitted on the grounds, outside, as long as they're on a LEAD. Any dog mess will need to be picked up and disposed of appropriately.
Will there be entertainment?
Yes, we'll have some great live music:
Friday 28th June - FREIGHT TRAIN RIDERS (from 8pm)
Saturday 29th June - ZZ TOP UK TRIBUTE (from 8pm)
Sunday 30st July - BANNED FROM THE BREWERY (from 2pm)
Please see here for more details...
Can you make the sun come out over the three days?
We'll see what we can do.
